Scherson Named New Director of Yeager Center for Electrochemical Sciences

The Yeager Center for Electrochemical Sciences(YCES),at Case Western Reserve University,has named DANIEL A.SCHERSON,PhD,as its new director.The appointment became effective July 1,2004.The Executive Committee named Professor Scherson's attributes in their unanimous decision to appoint Scherson:his international prominence in electrochemistry,his long-standing participation and service to the Yeager Center,and his leadership in The Electrochemical Society at the national and Cleveland Section levels.
