Coleoptera from the lower Kennet floodplain, Berkshire

摘要

In recent years I have carried out extensive surveys of the invertebrate fauna of thelower Kennet valley, amongst which I found approximately a quarter of the knownBerkshire beetle fauna. This included a surprisingly rich dead wood fauna, a diverseassemblage of aquatic and wetland species, and some interesting records fromruderal and disturbed areas which are described here.
