Apache and Shell squeeze North Sea reserves

APACHE,the independent oil company,Has signed a deal with Shell UK to drill a series of exploration wells in the central North Sea.The wells will be drilled in the Nelson and Forties fields to enable the companies to extend the life of the aging fields and exploit the dwindling North Sea reserves.
