Shell,Apache ink North Sea deals

London-Shell has signed a series of deals with US independent Apache to drill at least two exploration wells near the Shell-operated Nelson and Apache-operated Forties field in the central North Sea,the UK company said Jan 25.Under terms of the agreement,Apache will operate the blocks and exploration wells are planned for block numbers 22/6a,22/7 and 22/12,with a contingent well possible for 22/11.
