Enron's Kenneth Lay indicted

KENNETH Lay,the former chairman of the disgraced US energy giant Enron,has pleaded "not guilty"to 11 charges of fraud in relation to the collapse of Enron.Lay was accused of conspiring to manipulate Enron's financial results,making false public statements regarding the health of the company,and filing false financial reports.Lay,however,blamed all wrongdoing on Andrew Fastow,the then chief financial officer.
