Boost for power and petrochemicals

CHINA is seeking to boost its economy through major investments and tax breaks for power and petrochemicals.The State Council said hopes to boost demand for petrochemical products and accelerate construction of major petrochemical projects by guaranteeing the supply of farm chemicals such as fertilisers and giving petrochemical companies tax breaks and better access to credit.Further,the State Council will not approve projects to increase the capacity for coal chemicals.
