"95% of all Americans face an increased likelihood of developing cancer as a result of breathing air toxics." This is the damning statement released by the US environment protection agency (EPA),which has been condemned for its lax approach to legislation change 16 years ago.An amendment to the US Clean Air Act in 1990 required the EPA to enforce new laws regarding 190 airborne carcinogens and pollutants such as benzene and asbestos.
