摘要

Metal-organic frameworks (MOF) are highly ordered crystalline materials built from multidentate ligands and metal ions or clusters. The coexistence of large specific surface areas, well-defined pore or cavity structures, and variable functionalities allows for the application of MOFs in a variety of fields including catalysis. Catalytically active sites can result from metal complex catalysis, organic functionalities of the organo-catalysis, or from the introduction of well-defined metal nanoparticles (MNP). Herein, the authors report on the combined incorporation of titanium dioxide and palladium nanoparticles into MIL-101 (Cr), making use of the synthetic strategy illustrated in Scheme 1.
