Benign phyllodes tumor of the breast with intracytoplasmic inclusion bodies identical to infantile digital fibromatosis.

The fine needle aspiration cytology (FNAC) specimen consisted of a paucicellular aspirate of cohesive groups epithelial cells and spindled cells. The spindled cells contained intracytoplasmic hyaline inclusions. The specimen was designated as benign (C2), but in light of the ultrasonographic findings, it was decided to obtain a core biopsy.The needle core biopsy (NCB) showed benign epithelial lobular units with bland spindled stromal cells, interstitial hemorrhage, and hemosiderin-laden maerophages. There were multiple intracytoplasmic, paranuclear, homogenous eosinophilic inclusions in the spindled stromal cells. This was reported as Phyllodes tumor with intracytoplasmic inclusions (Fig. 1).
