Altan Rio gathers Chandman IP profiles

ALTAN Rio Minerals is focusing its 2009 exploration program at the Chandman copper-gold prospect in western Mongolia, gathering induced polarization (IP) profiles and assessing drill targets. It consists of about 25 km of IP profiles across the copper-gold mineralized intrusion and skarn zones while drill targeting is being based on combined mapping, geochemical and geophysical results. Additionally, soil and stream sediment sampling in concert with reconnaissance mapping will begin on the company's new licence areas.
