摘要

Some 110 million pieces of antipersonnel mine are being left in the past warring areas now. They cause more than 30,000 casualties a year. From the humanitarian point of view, it is highly requested that removing such remained mines in safety is a very important and urgent subject. Not a few technologists have devoted themselves in development of technologies which permit to remove mines safely. Some international conferences for mine detection and removal technology took place. J. Walker reviewed Moore's Law in the Minefield to report at Workshop on Antipersonnel Mine Detection and Removal held in 1995. M.c. King: reported Mine Clearance In The Real World at International Workshop on Sustainable Humanitarian Demining which took place in 1997. Mines contain antitank mines and antipersonnel ones. Presently there is no effective measures for removing antipersonnel mine safely.
