摘要

A new generation of a monocular multi range sensor will be presented. The passively working rangesensor (in an arrangement with m * n channels) is based on the method of splitting the optic's pupil incombination with a temporal phase measurement method. First results of the prototype will illustrateits capability. Optical distance measurement systems can be subdivided into active and passive methods. Thesensor prototype presented here belongs to the group of passive methods like the stereoscopicmeasurement method. It doesn't require a special structured illumination or light pulses like otheractive methods (e.g. line or grid illumination, Gray code projection, Moire projection, time of flight)[1]. The fields of application of the multi range sensor prototype comprise visual aids for blindpeople, collision avoidance for robots and vehicles, volume measurement of bulky goods, and otherindustrial applications.
