Brenntag North America says it has acquired Treat-Em-Rite (Pearsall, TX), a frm supplying well-treating chemicals as well as specialized services for the oil and gas sector. Terms were not disclosed. Brenntag says the acquisition ofers cross-selling opportunities with products sold by Brenntag subsidiary Coastal Chemical and its existing customers. Treat-Em-Rite generated sales of $11.2 million in fscal year 2011.
