The Woodcraft Guild of Tasmania Inc's Silver Anniversary

In October this year The Woodcraft Guild of Tasmania will turn 25. Back in October 1986, 40 woodcraftsmen gathered in Hobart to launch The Woodcraft Guild of Tasmania and on 11 November that year around 60 people attended the first public meeting. TheGuild arose out of an initiative of the late Vin Smith — who had a popular woodworking equipment and supplies shop in Hobart — and his loyal customers.
