Henkel reports double-digit rise in sales, profit, with strong growth in emerging markets

Henkel has reported sales of ?4.37 billion ($4.81 billion) in the fourth quarter of 2015, an increase of 6.0% year-on-year (YOY). Organic sales, which exclude the impact of foreign exchange and acquisitions/divestments, grew 2.9% YOY. Ebit jumped 39% YOY, to ?616 million, compared with ?444 million in the year-ago quarter. The adjusted Ebit margin rose from 14.6% to 15.3% in the last quarter of 2015. Adjusted earnings increased 9.9%, to ?1.11/share.
