Dow announced a settlement with the ‘opt-out’ plaintiffs in a urethanes price-fixing case, agreeing to pay $400 million. The settlement is expected to result in a net cash payment of about $250 million. In February, Dow settled a class action suit with a group of plaintiffs who alleged that Dow and several other companies fixed the price of polyurethane precursors from 2000 to 2003.
