摘要

A new class of tetradentate chiral picolinamide-salicylidene ligands and their corresponding manganese complexes as catalysts for epoxidation of olefins have been designed and synthesized. The manganese complexes catalyzed asymmetric epoxidation of olefins by sodium hypochlorite with up to 74% ee for cis olefins and 53% ee for trans-beta-methyl styrene. These novel catalysts exhibited higher turnover numbers than chiral Mn-salen catalysts. Copyright (C) 1996 Elsevier Science Ltd. [References: 21]
