A major objective of exhaust emission analysis is to ensure the accuracy of measurements for almost zero level emissions in terms of regulatory issues. In addition, measurement of multiple components in diesel exhaust has come to play an important role in the improvement of diesel control systems and the development of aftertreatment systems. On-hoard measurement systems for mass exhaust-emission have been demanded to provide valuable information that can be used to reduce the pollutants emitted in the real world.
