A collage of comments on university vibration training

This article commenced with Publisher Eve Mattingley-Hannigan asking, "How is vibration testing/analysis taught in universities? Does it adequately prepare students to work in test labs?" I asked my 2,000+fellow members of the Vibration and Shock Test interest group on Linked In for help. No one knew of any university vibration test training, so the title became "What's wrong with university vibration training?" That seemed too negative, and "Improvement goals" became my temporary working title, finally becoming the one you see here. Thanks for 30+ comments, but by no means is this a complete survey even of U.S. universities. Let's begin by praising certain universities - all too few of them.
