DSM's net profit from continuing operations in the third quarter totaled ?106 million ($116.9 million ), down 6% year-on-year (YOY). But Ebitda was up 2% YOY, to ?287 million, and sales grew 8% YOY, to ?1.95 billion. “DSM continued to make good progress in quarter-three in both Ebitda and cash generation. These results demonstrate the benefits of our focus on improving our operational performance. We are starting to implement the previously announced ?125–150 million cost-reduction program for the DSM-wide support functions," says Feike Sijbesma, CEO and chairman of DSM.
