GHS:global harmonisation with dissonances

Bernd Glassl(IKW,Germany)gave an overview of the recent efforts to globally harmonise the different classification and labelling systems for chemicals.The European Commission made a proposal for a Regulation at 27 June 2007 that is likely to be adopted this year.According to the schedule,the Regulation will come into force on 1 December 2010 for substances and on 1 June 2015 for mixtures(former named as"preparations").
