摘要

For the case of the skin effect in metals and an arbitrary function J(R) entering into the nonlocal relation between the current density and the electric field, general distributions of the electric field and surface impedance are found. The results obtained are applicable to both normal and superconducting metals and are represented as the Fourier transform of the function J(R).
