CONSOL Reduces Planned Sales Volume of Metallurgical Coal

On July 29 local time, CONSOL Energy Inc., USA made it clear its sales volume of metallurgical coal planned for 2014 was adjusted downward to 4.9 - 5.3 million tons. The planned sales volume mix is 3.4 - 3.8 million tons of low-volatile (LV) metallurgical coal and 1.5 million tons of high-volatile (HV) metallurgical coal. In the beginning of the year, CONSOL instituted a plan for its sales volume of metallurgical coal for 2014 to be 6.5 - 7.0 million tons (LV metallurgical coal: 4.2 - 4.7 million tons, HV metallurgical coal: 2.3 million tons).
