U.S. HR to Hold Hearing on Expediting LNG Export Permit

Based on the bipartisan legislation introduced on March 6, 2014 to expedite U.S. LNG exports, the Subcommittee on Energy and Power scheduled a hearing for March 25, 2014. The introduced legislation was to the effect of immediate approval of all the applications for LNG exports so far filed and modifying the standard of review from FTAs (Free Trade Agreement countries) to WTO (World Trade Organization) members.
