2 LNG Carriers for Badak IV Possibly to Be in Short-Term Charter

LNG carriers “LNG Flora” and LNG Vesta”, which has been put into transportation of LNG from Indonesian LNG project “Badak IV” based on long-term sale and purchase agreement (SPA), are expected to be in short-term charter after 2014. Both vessels will cease operations of the project at the end of 2013 when the SPA expires, but there have so far been no new long-term charter contracts for these ships.
