U.S. DOE Turns Down AGPA's Application to Export LNG from Alaska

The United States Department of Energy (DOE) dismissed the application submitted by Alaska Gasline Port Authority (AGPA) to export LNG, pointing out that the project proposal lacks adequate specifics about feedstock gas supplies and how gas could be sent to the planned liquefaction plant. DOE answered to AGPA that it will have the option to file the application again in the future if the deficiencies are corrected.
