SouthGobi Resources Resumes Operation of Ovoot Tolgoi Coal Mine

SouthGobi Resources, Canada will shortly resume operation of Ovoot Tolgoi coal mine, an existing metallurgical coal mine in Mongolia. SouthGobi Resources plans to produce 3.2 million tons of semi-soft coking coal at this coal mine in CY2013. Ovoot Tolgoi coal mine is a surface coal mine located in the central part of the SouthGobi Province close to the border with China, and started a full-scale coal production in July, 2008.
