Negotiations With KPC On Light Naphtha Settled At 13 US dollars /MT-1 US dollars higher than a premium of its full range naphtha

It was revealed that through negotiations between Kuwait Petroleum Corporation, or KPC, and customers to fix premium prices for term contract to supply naphtha for a year from December 2010 to November 2011, not only price of full range naphtha but also that of light naphtha were settled. KPC agreed with customers on a price of light naphtha at 13 US dollars /MT plus its benchmark price on FOB Arabian Gulf basis, which was 1 US dollars higher than that of full range naphtha at 12 US dollars /MT to its own price on FOB AG. The company sold light naphtha on term contract basis for the first time.
