On 19th November, JFE Steel concluded a comprehensive and strategic partnership contract with JSW Steel Ltd., Indian iron producer. As a result from now JFE Steel extends technology on automobile steel plates and so on and invest in JSW Steel. From now JSW Steel and JFE Steel plan to build new integrated iron plants in West Bengal and Jharkhand in association by 2020 with crude steel production capacity of 10 million MT each. Upon completion of both iron plants crude steel production capacity of JSW Steel rises to 32 million MT per year.
