Anglo American plc has recently made clear its expectation to produce 20 - 21 million tons (based on its interestholding, and the same applies hereinafter) of metallurgical coal in 2015. As the production volume of metallurgical coal in2014 was 20.906 million tons, this will be almost unchanged from the prior year.
