According to India's Central Electricity Authority, total output of the country's coal-fired thermal power plants amounted to 149,180 MW as of July 31st, which accounts for about 60% of India's power generation capacity, total capacity of thermal power, nuclear power, hydraulic power and renewable energy power plants.
