This is an extract of a paper by Dr CSB Nair, R Vidya and PM Ashalatha of Terumo Penpol based in Kerala, India, that was presented at the Asian Polymer Association International conference on Advances in Polymer Science and Technology, held in January this year. Terumo Penpol is a joint venture between India-based Peninsula Polymers and Japanese company Terumo Corporation.
