More Than 300 Attend IUPAT's first Finishing Industries Forum in Las Vegas

Members and leaders of the International Union of Painters and Allied Trades (IUPAT), many of their signatory employers and members of the Finishing Contractors Association (FCA) met in Las Vegas for the first annual Finishing Industries Forum (FIF), which took place the week of November 6, 2005. More than 300 people attended the event which was jointly sponsored by the IUPAT, Painters and Allied Trades Labor Management Cooperation Initiative (LMCI) and its signatory employer association counterpart, the FCA. "In creating the FIF, we wanted an environment where we could stress to our members that each side of the labor/management relationship must consider the other an equal partner as we move forward," said Tony Singh, LMCI co-chairperson and president of Fine Painting.
