摘要

Sensitive topics are difficult as a subject of research and may be avoided for many reasons, including the difficulty of finding a study sample. Consequently, a population of individuals with a health need may not receive proper assistance because health care providers cannot determine the nature or extent of the need. The research under consideration (Nahon, Dorey, Adams, & Waddington, 2009) brings such an issue to the forefront and provides a view for readers into the nature of the embarrassment men experience regarding urinary incontinence (UI).
