SAROV SETS UP RIGID POLYOLS PLANT IN RUSSIA

Nizhny Novgorod, Russia - JSC Sarov opened an 18.5-kilotonnes-per-annum (ktpa) polyether polyol: plant on 11 Nov 2010 at its site in Nizhny Novgorod, Russia. The group says that, post the crisis, Russian demand for rigid polyols is now so buoyant that it is considering an expansion to more than double the plant's capacity to 41.5 ktpa over the next 2-3 years.
