Kazan, Russia — Egida, a Russian flexible foam and furniture component manufacturing company, has developed a novel way to transport blocks of flexible foam over considerable distances more economically. Speaking on the sidelines of Polyurethanex 2016, Timofey Kalinin, technologist at the company, said his firm's method could reduce the volume of foam blocks to around 30% of their original dimensions.
