Johnson Controls Q2 sees auto profits and sales rise

Milwaukee, Wisconsin — Johnson Controls Inc reported a 4% rise in sales during Q2 of 2014 compared to Q2 2013. Total sales reached $10.5bn (?7.4bn) compared to $ 10.1 bn in the same quarter last year. The company's profit rose ; 36% to $629m compared to $461 m in Q2 2013, according to the quarterly report released last week.
