Startup of the 100 kt/a DME Unit at Hebei Zhongjie Petrochemical Company

摘要

The 100 kt/a DME unit was successfully started up at Hebei Zhongjie Petrochemical Company. This unit which adopts the patented technology for dehydration of methanol to dimethyl ether licensed by the CAS Dalian Institute of Chemical Physics was designed by the Donghua Engineering Company. The DME unit operates smoothly delivering a prod- uct with stable purity equating to over 99.5% DME.
