Z 2003 - SPECIALISTIC FAIR FOR SUB-CONTRACTORS: PARTS, COMPONENTS, MODULES, TECHNOLOGIES, Leipzig 24-26.06.2003 SUMMARY

The article presents the course of the Leipzig Fair Z, specialistic Fair for sub-contractors. This year the fourth edition of the Fair took place, "This events assembles more and more exhibitors from the largely understood sub-contractors' branch from all over the world. They are representatives of the following branches: automotive, machine, electronic and electrotechnical, aircraft, and military. The co-operative stock-exchanges under the name "Purchasing Days" are characteristic for this Fair. On the basis of the information on the demand of the manufacturers of the final products and offers of the sub-contractors, which was supplied before the beginning of the exhibition event, commercial meetings during the Fair were arranged. They give much better trade results than the traditional trade formula of the Fair. Since the year 2002 the co-operation exchange "Contact: Sub-Contractor - Sub-Contractor" has been organised by the Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Leipzig. At this year's Fair a common stand of Polish enterprises under the auspices of the Polish-German Chamber of Commerce and Industry and with the support of the General Consulate of the Republic of Poland in Leipzig was organised. The following Polish firms took part in the Fair: Bydgoskie Zaklady Elektromechaniczne Belma SA (Bydgoszcz); Centrum Naukowo-Produkcyjne Materialow Elektronicznych CeMat'70 SA (Warszawa); Huta Stalowa Wola SA (Stalowa Wola); Osrodek Badawczo-Rozwojowy Urzadzen Mechanicznych "Obrum" (Gliwice); Przedsiebiorstwo Wielobranzowe "Rombor" (Czestochowa), Firma "Sim" (Gdynia); Wojskowy Instytut Techniki Inzynieryjnej (Wroclaw), Zaklad Mechaniki Maszyn sc. (Wroclaw), "Silum" Sp. z o.o. (Opojowice k. Wielunia).
