摘要

The article IS devoted to the problem of supplying domestic carriers with air crafts. As stated by representatives of Ministry of transportation of Ukraine, this year Ukrainian producers would not be able to meet increasing requirements of local air companies in planes for domestic flights due to carriers limited solvency. Therefore Ministry of transportation plans to buy used air crafts abroad. However, Ministry of industrial policy of Ukraine considers that it would be prejudicial to interests of Ukrainian air technique producers. In the opinion of Ministry of industrial policy experts, air manufacturers are able to provide necessary amount of planes while conditions of air crafts' leasing would improve and creditworthiness of clients would increase. The Enactment of the Government of the country as of March 17, 2003 has increased practically threefold statutory fund of the leasing company Ukrtransleasing acting as an intermediary between manufacturers and operators of air crafts up to UAH 630 mn. It would give air companies the chance to enlarge their fleet by new AN planes rather than by used Western-made airplanes.
