Dnepropetrovsk region

摘要

Dnepropetrovsk region is situated in the center of Ukraine and borders on seven other Ukrainian regions where approximately 1/3 of Ukraine's total population resides. Significant industrial complex of mining and metallurgical industry, machine building, chemical, light, and food industries is concentrated in the region. Construction is being developed in rapid rates. More than 42 percent of Ukraine's metallurgical output is produced in the region. Almost 70 percent of the total output of regional mining and metallurgical complex enterprises is certified in accordance with international standards.
