VirTis, an SP Industries Inc. company, has announced the availability of the modern control upgrades for a wide variety of older freeze dryers. The mechanical components of most freeze dryers are typically very rugged and stable and can last in excess of 30 years with good preventative maintenance and care. However, controller platforms are typically updated on a regular basis offering ever increasing functionality to the freeze dryer.
