My fascination with travel started as a child. I was born in York, but my family left the UK when I was only one year old. I was lucky enough to travel all over the world with my parents, and we lived in New Zealand and Fiji. We came back to the UK when I was 15, but ever since then I have continued to travel as often as possible.After taking a geography degree at Southampton University I worked as a ski guide in Switzerland. When I came back to the UK, I took an MSc in tourism studies at Manchester University and while I was there I had the opportunity to start a work placement with Airtours, part of the MyTravel group.
