Servicemark Leeds was established to improve customer service in the city. Chris Bates, an independent consultant who advises Servicemark, explains how the venture has further improved businesses in the region.Recognized as one of the most important financial centers in Europe, Leeds is head office to an ever-increasing number of firms and organisations in financial services and high-tech IT-based industries. They city has been successfully reinvented to the point where more than 78 per cent of the workforce is in service related industries.
