After executive turnover, Exopack brings back Knott as CEO from Sun Capital

Exopack Holding said Jack Knott will return to the company in a full-time capacity as exec chmn and CEO from his position as managing dir of private investment firm Sun Capital Partners. Knott previously was CEO of Exopack from 2005 to September 2011, and left to become managing dir of Sun Capital, where his duties include oversight of Exopack and a number of other packaging firms. Exopack's CEO position has been vacant since Aug. 13 following a period of management turnover and restructuring moves to improve profitability (P&PW, Dec. 14, p. 12). During the vacancy, Knott, 58, was exec chmn of Exopack's board of directors.
