Weyerhaeuser took the first step in its strategic review by indefinitely idling its Prince Albert,Sask.,uncoated freesheet and pulp mill as a result of "poor market conditions."The mill had capacity to produce 280,000 tpy of uncoated freesheet and 130,000 mtpy of mainly northern bleached softwood kraft market pulp,and has 690 hourly and salaried employees.
