Following a printing season that most agree was unusually short and not busy enough, New-Page said it will indefinitely idle the No. 12 paper machine at its Rumford mill in Maine by mid-February 2014 and remove "approximately 300 tons of coated paper per day used primarily for magazines, catalogs and commercial printing applications."
