The last few months have been particularly brutal for the graphics paper industry in Europe, and more specifically die UK. In a very short space of time we have lost drree significant industry players, starting with the closure of Aylesford Newsprint in February. Then more recendy we have seen the final, painful demise of what was once the biggest paper merchant in the region, PaperlinX. The Australian-based company has shut down offices in both the UK and the Benelux region and has sold its Polish operation. And then out of die blue, Tullis Russell, renowned Scottish board and paper-maker announced it was going into administration.
