IFC AGREES LOAN FOR KYRGYZ FIRM

The International Finance Corporation(IFC)has approved loans totaling 1.4 million for Altyn Ajydar.The funds will go toward a 2.93 million expansion of the firm's mill in Ken-Bulun,near capital city,Bishkek.The IFC said the scheme includes an 8,250 tonne/yr containerboard machine,a 2,400 tonne/yr plastic packaging facility and a modernization of the site's existing corrugated board plant,boosting its capacity to 25 million tonnes/yr.
