This paper describes how several faculty members in the Department of Managmement at DePaul University design, develop, and deliver course material using the MBNQA framework, both as a part of the structure and as a focal point in their individual classes. The criteria for performance excellence (CPE) and the underlying concepts of the MBNQA have been used by the authors to enhance the learning experience of the students. The faculty members have employed Dale's 'cone of experience' (COE) (Ref. 2) through concrete exercises and experiences to better leverage the students' ability to understand the abstact concepts. The student evaluations indicate that the approach has led to a higher level of student engagement in the learning process, as evidenced by ample and higher quality feedback to the instructors.
